Field Master Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Field Master mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Field Master is an AI-powered hunting and fishing companion app that provides:

• AI-generated hunting and fishing recommendations
• GPS mapping and location tracking
• Weather forecasts and conditions analysis
• Trail camera image analysis using artificial intelligence
• Cloud sync of user data across devices

Subscription Required

Access to Field Master's features requires an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription options include:

• 3-day free trial (auto-renews to monthly if not cancelled)
• Monthly subscription
• Annual subscription

Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple or Google account. Cancellation policies follow Apple App Store and Google Play Store guidelines.

User Account

To use Field Master, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Create an account with a valid email address
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Field Master only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:

• Use the App to violate any hunting, fishing, or wildlife regulations
• Upload illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the App
• Share your subscription access with others
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Exceed the daily AI usage limits (100 requests per day)

AI-Powered Features

Accuracy Disclaimer: AI-generated recommendations are for informational purposes only. Field Master does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. Users are solely responsible for their hunting and fishing decisions.

Usage Limits: To ensure fair access and manage costs, AI features are limited to 100 requests per user per day, resetting at midnight UTC.

Hunting and Fishing Regulations

Important: Field Master is a tool to assist with outdoor activities. You are solely responsible for:

• Knowing and following all local, state, and federal hunting and fishing regulations
• Obtaining proper licenses and permits
• Following wildlife management rules
• Adhering to season dates, bag limits, and restricted areas

Field Master does not provide legal advice regarding hunting or fishing regulations.

Location Data

By using Field Master, you consent to the collection and use of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy. Location tracking can be disabled in your device settings, but this may limit app functionality.

User Content

When you upload photos or other content to Field Master:

• You retain ownership of your content
• You grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide our services
• You represent that you have the right to upload the content
• We may use uploaded images for AI analysis via third-party services (OpenAI)

Intellectual Property

The Field Master app, including all software, features, and content (excluding user-uploaded content), is owned by Field Master and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use our trademarks without permission

Third-Party Services

Field Master integrates with third-party services including:

• OpenAI (AI analysis)
• Supabase (data storage and authentication)
• WeatherAPI.com (weather data)
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store (payments)

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

Safety Disclaimer: Hunting and fishing can be dangerous activities. Always prioritize safety, follow best practices, and use appropriate safety equipment.

Weather Accuracy: Weather forecasts are provided by third-party services and may not always be accurate. Always check official weather sources before outdoor activities.

Wildlife Identification: AI-powered trail camera analysis may not always correctly identify species. Do not rely solely on AI analysis for wildlife identification.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Field Master is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the App
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI recommendations
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the past 12 months

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Use the App for illegal purposes
• Abuse or exploit the service
• Fail to maintain an active subscription

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
